Avid Reader
I didn't start loving books until I was in college. My parents had banned books such as Harry Potter from our house. I never liked reading until I discovered fantasy and fiction. I also was not a fast reader, I devoured the Potter books in 3 weeks. I took all English classes for fun while I was in College and realized I was only 30 hours away from a degree in English Creative writing. While I have not published any works of fiction or fantasy, I have been published with Press Releases for work, but hope to pick up my pen and work on a novel.
I have been honored to have been chosen to participate as an ARC reader for a few authors so far. I have gotten 2 new books to ARC read in the last few days as well (December 8, 2022). I look forward to reading these as well as all of the books I have read so far.
What I do
I am currently Communications Specialist for a Non Profit in Virginia
Why
When I graduated from College the first job I was offered was as an Insurance Agency Receptionist. I obtained my insurance license after a year and worked in the industry for 6 years before finding my communications position where I am able to use my degree for social media content and press releases.
